Printoteca was founded in 2015 by business duo Sabina and Răzvan with the memorable motto 'A good design deserves a good print'. A resounding success, the company created a number of signature brands including Sticker Republic and T-Shirt Van, which was Romania's first mobile t-shirt printing house. Today, Printoteca is the PoD supplier of choice for thousands of creatives from illustrators to designers.
Describing itself as 'a creative project where design comes to life', Printoteca is strongly focused on environmental responsibility. The company uses only sustainable materials to create its products, including 100% recycled polyester and organically-grown cotton. In 2019, Printoteca abandoned all packaging that was either made from or contained plastic, opting to use only packaging made from responsibly-sourced cardboard certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
2020 saw Printoteca begin operating in strict accordance with the guidelines and values set out by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Just three years later, the company proudly became the first GOTS-certified company in the Bucharest region.
The latest step in the growth of Printoteca is the introduction of PoD and dropshipping services, which are automated using The Brick Factory.
